The front engine casing on my 2005 GS was replaced under warranty in 2007. But I've just noticed that the replacement cover has also corroded - mainly in the area at the bottom of the plastic cover, but also around some of the bolts at the side of the casing.
I'm going to take it to my local dealer for them to have a look at but don't expect it to be replaced again under warranty... so my question is, what is the most cost effective way to fix it?
I currently have extended warranty but this doesn't cover casings "unless the damage has been caused by failure of an insured component". Which is not the case (no pun intended).
Any useful advice?
