I had never been able to sort this persistent oil leak, I must have fitted at least 4 crank case seals but the oil leak always came back, so yesterday I bit the bullet once again, still had an original BMW seal spare, had tried the double lip seal to no avail. So anyway all stripped down even took the front cover off as thought somehow it may need re sealing as well.............anyway you know the 4 internal bolts that hold the cover on, the ones hidden behind the belt, the ones not fitted to my bike!!
