Front (mag) wheel corrosion

Hi guys,

Anyone have this inside their front wheel. Just wondering if it's normal finish or whether I should be actioning a warranty job ?

Normal chinese quality these days

Mines the same, it's not corrosion just casting finish

They are all like that, rough Chinese casting and painted over

Yup, it's the same on my toilet to, nothing to worry about.

Yes is not corrosion, but go back and have a really good look at it and admire what a beautiful casting it is, a superbly designed ultra lightweight cage helping to keep the un-sprung weight right down to the minimum...brilliant!

Even when corrosion does creep in just have them refinished.

My alloys cost £15 each for chemical stripping and £25 each for powder coat. Add another £20 for bearing and you have a pair of "new" wheels for about £100.
Mine look fab in gloss black.
