Maybe we can do a group buy on some of these, get our man Stephan to make up some of these brackets out of 4mm polished aluminium.

Just got the bracket from Robert from advrider. Agree finish is not the best but might repaint mine before fixing it to the bike. Looks as though it will do the job - a couple of stickers and strap a small bag to the front mudguard and you,ll never see it anyway!

Thanks for posting Frosty, this is my next mod. I've already picked up the Acerbis thanks to Timpo , in red like yours, so I just need to get that bracket ordered from Robert.

Have you ridden the bike yet ,I just wondered if it stopped the spray issue ?

Rushy where did you get the acerbis from, i do like the red and i have a spare rear seat, sidepanel cowl in red which should look good:thumb

took the x out for a couple of hours on the local lanes, normally when i get back you cant see the headlight but with the new mudguard the headlight is pretty much clear, not an exhaustive test but initial thoughts are positive

headlight and muck

can anyone tell me if the tt front mudguard extension helps to keep the headlight clear of mud and dirt etc? whilst having the teknick helps its not perfect imho as even a short ride c30miles in the wet on country roads left the headlight with a nice layer coating it. after a days trail riding it needs scraping off rather than a wipe off!
