Put my bike in to the local bike mechanic for him to change chain, front and rear sprockets. Turned out supplier sent me the wrong rear sprocket as there are two types, one with 10mm holes and one with 8mm holes. No problem I will just swap them over.
But.................the mechanic is saying that he could not get the front sprocket on as it was too tight ? and would damage the gearbox by giving it a good whack. I've tried to find out if there are two sizes (and there isn't). So what do I do now, I don't want anything damaged putting the sprocket on, so is this a common thing with bmw ? and what's the solution to get it on ?
Thanks in advance.
