ive a strange question here but im sure some one will be able to help me out

the bung on my front telelever pivot point (right side as you sit on the bike)
has fallen out. so i bought a new one and tried to fit it but the inner plastic thingy is in the way ( the plastic pully thing sticks out too far)
ive removed the circlip and checked the bolt is still tight

ps its a gs1150

cheers in advance

did they send the correct part?

part number should be - 31422314304

aah.. I see the part is identical for the 1100 and 1150. was worth a shot.

I need to get 2. For some reason, they weren't on the bike when I bought it. :nenau

If they don't clip into place, I was just going to use a dab of silicone to hold them in place.

Out of curiosity Ragerover, how much did it cost?

i have this issue

I have the very same issue have the new part with o ring but the plastic thingy will not allow the cover to go on. does anyone know why

count me in on that one... right-side bung gone awol. :blast
should i worry?
are they there just for cosmetic reasons (covering the ugly hole), or are they really critical (keeping the elements and dust away from the seals etc) for the telelever pivot? :nenau

I only noticed mine weren't there when I saw rust marks. I was just going to sand it down, paint it and put a cover on. :thumb2
£1.23 each from motorworks. I would also ask about this o-ring thats been mentioned. assuming this is the part you mean (of course)
Sure looks like just what I need. :thumb2
