front tyre reccomendations please

the trouble is ,the bobber ,and a glide are two different weights ,the glide weighing twice as much as your bobber .
is your tyre for a sportster type bike ,as opposed to a big tourer

Wouldn't think it would be twice the weight but a fair point, tyres are not for a sportster though as my bike is or should say was a super glide with a 21" front rim, however i have heard of riders using metzelers on the big tourers.

couldnt remember what your bike was ,but tyres are allways a personel choice ,i have contis on my road king ,but will change soon to avon venoms/cobras.

Couldn't agree with you more on that, just couldnt believe the difference from the stock tyres, never felt 100% particularly with the front end, but after the tyre change it was like night & day

Thanks for the input its just that the dealer has to put me new disks & pads ON yes it is a bit on the high side put can put through the Buisness what about the tyres anyone from the write ups I have seen they seem to be highly rated ???
