Hi All,

I was out yesterday on my 1150 Adv and I noticed that when cornering there is a bit of "roughness" coming through the bars. I tried some quick "weaving" (like warming the tyres) and I can definitely feel something when not going straight - if that makes any sense! There doesn't seem to be any play in the front wheel. Do you think the bearings are on the way out?
The bike has done about 35k kms.
Any ideas would be much appreciated.

Thanks everyone!

Part-worn Tourances cause a buzz/rumble/whatever effect when lent over, at least for me. The bike is smooth in a straight line, effect sets in as soon as I tip into a corner. Goes away with new tyres.

May not be what you're experiencing, but it's harmless and cheap...

I had a similar feeling a few weeks ago. Turned out to be a bulge in the wall of the front tyre. 1 new tyre fixed the problem.

Thanks everyone.
The rear pivot bearings are new - one was duff so I replaced the pair when I replaced the bevel box oil seal. I did have a good poke about the rear bearings which seemed fine.... but it's hard to check them without stripping everything down! The tires were both replaced a few thousand kms ago - tourances... so maybe they are to blame! Other than the slight rumble/vibe there is nothing wrong - the bike is excellent! I will check the tires carefully for any damage and I will drop the front wheel to check the bearings more carefully.
Thanks again everyone! This forum rocks :O)
