Is there a particular procedure for fitting the front wheel to a ktm?

I ask as it looks like it may be possible to get the spacing between the fork legs out slightly when tightening up the axle (it is possible to move the fork legs along the axle) .

This might not appear to be an issue, but my 690 enduro R forks have knackered a set of bushes in 8000 miles.

Bigger spacer goes on the brake side.

Nip up axle nut.
Tighten 2 lh side pinch bolts evenly and fully tighten axle nut.

Bounce forks vigorously...... this puts the rh fork in correct position on the axle.
With bike still upright, reach down and nip up the rh pinch bolts evenly

Torque both sides pinch bolts evenly.
