Fuel filler cap issues on 2016 GSA with keyless...

Keyless is great. You just need to make sure you give the filler cap a firm snap shut, and you shouldn't have any issues with it. When I first got mine, I used to gently close the filler cap, which could cause issues when trying to open it again, but now it get a firm snap shut every time.

Well most people seem to love it....with a few neysayers in the mix too. Having only done 300 miles on the bike it is a bit early for me to be forming a solid opinion just yet. I like the idea but need to live with it (and not have anymore issues with faulty filler caps) for a while before I'm totally convinced.
I'll keep you lot posted if there are any re-occurrences or issues with the replace cap.

If they invented a keyless lock for your front door would you be comfortable riding away from your house? It seems that some people have had issues where as the bike can still be started and rode away when they are well over the stated distance from the bike. I can see someone being in the petrol station paying for fuel and some scrote jumping on the bike and riding away!

They do have keyless locks for front doors, also some of the most high security commercial buildings use this system including airports
I do in hindsight wish I'd just gone old school and ordered my bike with a key as it packing up and you being stranded in the middle of nowhere due to the key less system going bandy would be more than irritating

Probably the same knobs who moan and fret about lots of risks (most imagined, just to make their lives seem more exciting) who then ride along with their keys jangling in the lock of their topbox and leave their helmet perched on their mirrors whilst they stroll off to kick-back and chill with likeminded souls.
No I put my key in my pocket especially when paying for fuel.

On holiday in Corsica a few years ago. Friend on Multistrada had keyless. Started bike and rode off so must have his key fob with him. 50 odd miles later stops bike to fill up with petrol.
Bike will not start.
No key fob.
The spare key fob given to friend to look after had been close enough to start bike but he was now no longer close enough as he and the key were still back on the camp site.

Apparently you can take the torx tool from under the seat and remove the two front torx bolts and it will release the lock
But only if you have the key to unlock the seat first!!
