does anyone know where the fuel filter is ive had the tank off but cant see it!....and no i havent got a manual...but its on my birthday list

It's inside the tank.....bloody silly place to put it if you ask me. Bit fiddly to get out. But easy enough to change once it's out

On the 1100's and 1150's it's in the tank, you can d/load the manual.

Last time I changed mine I moved it outside the tank. A few people have done this mod and it saves lots of messing about when your fuel pump starts to whine!
My GS doesn't have ABS so I put the new filter in the hole under the tank where the ABS unit would have been - perfect!
Do a search and there's a very comprehensive guide to doing this mod somewhere on the forum...
