Fuel Filter?

where's the thread on fitting your fuel filter outside of the tank?

I kinda got the feeling that unless you were about to embark on a RTW - the mod was a waste of time.. with the filter having a 24,000 miles interval and all. plus moving it outside was just plain messy and quite possibly made it more vulnerable to damage.

I'm pretty sure I've read that many people who've done the mod have reverted back to an in-tank setup

Probably cos it makes our attractive steeds look even more of a dogs breakfast than normal

I was wondering if it was worth it, I think I'll just keep mine in the tank then.
