Probably, despite what others will say, only reason I say so, I have done changes and found it located with two cable tye's a side.... but try to get proper jubilee clips not the gardening cheapies...

Use a proper fuel clamp not a Jubilee clip.

The one on the LEFT

Get the correct tool and you can re-use the clips already in place....... :D

Ok I'll try and get the tool, or maybe those old fashion "c" shaped pliers would do it. Failing that I'll order a couple of those Timmy clamps. :)

Re use the clamps at your own risk, remember it's under pressure and new stainless clamps cost peanuts.

When I did mine many years ago, I didn't have the correct clips, they seemed to big width wise, so I used cable ties instead, pulled tightly, never had any issues,

When I replaced the filter on my Breva 1100 I used the cable ties, and that still has them in the tank!

Plastic cable ties permanently submerged in fuel ? Don't think that would sit well in my little peanut brain.

More than 10 years and however many hundreds of bikes re-using without any problems.;).

You worry too much!

if there were any issues, then there would be degradation between fuel filters changes, there never seemed to be any!

if I was to worry about the cable ties, then surely the plastic tank on the Breva, would be more of a worry!:D

This means I've gone from jubilee clips, then fuel clamps, then reuse originals, then back to fuel clamps and now back to originals.
I'm a simple northern lad thou knows.
I'll ask me whippets......:blast

Guess your right and I've never had a problem on a BM, my opinion's perhaps biased from other bikes which are known to occasionally blow the pipe off either the filter or pump because of poor clamping and spigot design so need lock wiring :0
