Fuel Gauge issue

Hi All ,Went out for a bimble today ended up at vines Guildford, when i came out bike would not start ! Computer said 298 miles left and bar gauge 75% quick check reveled no fuel ! thought it was lasting well. Any way the good people at vines came to me aid with a jerry can of fuel, enough to get me home , Got to book it in to be sorted, looks like fiel sender problem or somthing Update when its fixed

Given the vaguaries of the fuel guage, I tend to zero the trip meter when filling up...just in case

my 08 adventure is booked in for 6000 mile service this monday alan said he will get them to run the new software so i might have a bit of an idea what the fuel gauge is for along with a new ring anntena.

Fuel gauge

Had a new sender fitted by Vines under warrenty, Given it a good testing including going over to France last weekend , all seems fine, well at least i didnt run out of fuel !
