trying to locate a web site to purchase the fuel hose clips (bmw tool ref 13 3 010) so that I can remove tank from my GS without the petrol spill
Will I need to contact main dealer

Your post is a bit confusing - no type of hose clip will allow you to remove the tank without spilling fuel. Do you mean the QD (Quick Disconnect) fuel line connectors? You can get these from various places including Motorworks (www.motorworks.co.uk). You'll need aditional hose clips to fit these - best to use proper fuel injection ones rather than jubilee clips.

If you mean fuel hose clamps, to prevent having to drain the fuel tank for removal, then wrap folded cardboard around the fuel hose, then use mole grips (the card will revent the teeth on the mole grips damaging the hose). Worked a treat when I fitted quick disconnect connecters. Or do you mean jubilee clamps?

It was the clamps that I was after, just purchased the GS and want to put together a tool kit to take on my travels whilst leaving room for luggage. Its the battery access that got me wondering, can you get jump leads onto the battery without tank removal if it goes flat ?

Yes, if its a later bike there is a lug on the start motor cover.

If no lug remove the cover and connect to the starter motor live and a suitible ground.
