Looking for a bit of help here to see if anyone is a good spark, I think I've became colour blind looking myself !

I've a wee bit of a problem with the GS, it isn't getting a live wire to the pump.

Stripped the pump out and all is good, got it working and proved the wires to the pump are good with a meter. The problem is between the female socket and the fuse I reckon - checked out the fuse and relay and got power upto the relay.

I can find the earth wires on the loom but cannot find the live one - anyone any ideas on the position of it in the spaghetti block under the tank ?

Fuel pump

Hope you got it sorted. I've got a 1100 that wouldn't start this morning. Again, no life in the fuel pump when the ignition was switched on. Gave that connector block to the pump/RID from the tank the good news with a test 12v feed and it went. Its ok now, plus I've been a bit of a porn star on the connector block with the electrical contact cleaner. I'd agree with the previous suggestion about checking for corrosion on that connector block. I just HOPE I've sorted my problem as I'm off to Norway next week, Its a bit of a pisser when you have a bike that has never even hinted at having problems before and it gives up with less than a week to go!!

Hexibob - apologies for not answering your question. On the 1100 the postiive feed on the tank plug (certainly gets the pump runnig) is a green wire. The earth is brown. The two are next to each other and are the heaviest wires. No idea if the loom is the same for the 1150 but its worth a look.

Thanks

Got a few days off work now so at it again - I reckon I'm building a new bike out there at the moment, everything from the wheels up looks like crap. Hammerite seems to be working well though
