Fuel pump recommendations r1150

Can anyone recommend or give me a link to a half decent fuel pump for my ageing r1150rt. I have had a what's described as a blip/misfire sometimes when opening the throttle .it's like some switching off the ignition for about 2 seconds then it comes back straight away.
I initially thought hall sensor .so I replaced that .that didn't work

Have you checked the usual suspects in the tank
Fuel hose condition, the rubber u bend from the pump to the filter?
When was the filter last changed?

Failing all that the pump from an Audi 80 is identical and about 1/4 of the price from BMW

Yes thanks hoses are fine .and yes while I am in there I will be doing the filter too.i really dont want to be taking it to bits again.all that plastic.looking on ebay they are available from 30 quid to a 130 quid .

I might have a spare one , I’ll check and your welcome to try it out to see if fixes your issue , if it does I’m sure we can come to an agreement ;-)

I’ve got two used genuine OEM ones , (one smaller diameter than the other ) and two brand new ones , one of each size . I can’t remember which one is for the 1150 , but if you just measure the outside diameter of the existing pump we can match it up

Just looked at the pictures from back in October when I changed the fuel filter on my most recent R1150RT and it is the smaller diameter pump

I have used fuel pumps from www.fuelperformance.co.uk and found them to work very well.
They also come with a lifetime guarantee.
Might be worth checking them out.
