I bought an altrider quick release fuel conector kit to allow me to fill my camping stove from the bike without syphoning the fuel out. I fitted it today (by teeing off the fuel like going into the left cylinder) according to the instructions. So all is fine.... but I don't think I expected to have to keep the engine start button held down and keep trying to turn the engine over while I'm pumping. I think I imagined that the engine would run and it would spit out fuel at the same time. My worry is that it will potentially deplete the battery as I hold the switch down while filling the bottle. Is there another place I should be teeing off to make this work better?
