Fuel strip Model

I currently have a 1200 GS LC, but want to add one just for off road and other projects.

Which of the older models/years do no have the fuel strip problem. I need to know how much fuel I have.

Dec 2010 onwards. Earlier TC and hexheads has a fuel strip.
