i have a GS adventure (1150) - on the tank it states that it should have 95 RON fuel - the bike does also has a BBS chip and Remus though - but i've always used standard juice

out with a friend yesterday who suggested i try Optimax - and i have to say that the bike does seem to run much cleaner / smoother

asked a technical friend (BMW trained) who agreed that it was worth paying the extra for the premium fuel

no-one at the BMW dealers have ever mentioned it

just wondered whether what fuel other forum users were using and any other views really?

€38 euro for 4 litres we use it on our boat .

I'll try my best to always stop off at an Optimax station......it DOES make a difference, more than the others almost.

Although they are probably all the same ROM (97), I find that

ESSO ENERGY doesn't seem to make much,
BP is a little bit better
TEXACO Super is next best
OPTIMAX is the winner

When I run a full tank of normal stuff the bike feels sluggish in comparison
