Full akro system on 30yr anniversary twin cam, K&N, power commander, rolling road set up by Dynojet. It's the 'twin cam' system so keeps the exhaust flap.
Previous bike was an '06 1200GS with a full BOS system (which made a huge difference). Wasn't going to change the twin cam set up as it is so much smoother / fruitier anyway...
...until I went on a trip with a guy with the full akra system on his twin cam. Booked it up within a week of getting back.
Can't lay my hands on the dyno sheet at the moment, but from memory 4 or 5 bhp at the top and rather more in the middle.
But it's so so smooth. And keeping the exhaust flap means that you can take the bung out of the end can - nice and sensible when you want it to be, lovely gougeous when you are in the mood (standing outside the rolling road listening to it being wound right up was very impressive - completely different sound to the earlier engine).
Not cheap, and lots will say it's ridiculous. But it's not their bike, it's mine and I wouldn't have it any other way - highly recomended!
A couple of thoughts - personally I wouldn't do a full system without adjusting the fueling and the power commander is IMO the best way of doing that (unless you happen to live very close to one of the well known people who can adjust the map by other means) so that will put the price up. Secondly, a pre twin cam system will fit if you are happy to do away with the exhaust flap (pros and cons there) but you are far more likely to find one of these second hand, which could bring the price down considerably.
Happy to meet up with anyone who lives South East-ish f

or a cuppa and to help them see the light!
