Full Size middleweights....

There is an underground movement on this forum to change it to UKMGer, you may well be approached by an agent to join :D
i doubt that .
i'm the one that started the rot .
Griso 1200 , 1200 Sport , MGX-21 , V7 , Le Mans , Cali Vintage ,Cali metal , Quota 1100ES x2 .

Tiger Sport 800 Tour. Will also be a bit tight 2 up but at 214kg it feels really light compared to my old 1250GS, has plenty of oomph, a supersmooth engine, the best up and down quickshifter I have used, is all day comfortable (I have done a 300 mile day on it) and it goes, stops and handles really well. It reminds me of my old VFR750; jack of all trades and master of most.

V2 Multistrada.
Its not just weight, seat shape, seating position, handlebars…
I did look at the Ducati when I was still in France, but decided if I wanted serious torque, it had to be another GS. The riding position on the little multi is superb for bike control. With that, should be excellent to handle two up.

I/we had a V85TT for 7 years from new. It’s a very comfy surprisingly roomy two up bike. We did 38,000 miles on it all over UK and most of Europe. It’s very good, but its engine lacks punch with both of you on it. It’ll easily cruise all day at 60-70mph, but if you come across a lorry/motorhome/caravan doing say 59 mph you need a long stretch to get past. No instant roll on overtakes. If you can live with that limitation it’s a brilliant bike. The only other thing is there’s something up front that makes it a noisy buffetty bike. Loads of opinions and options on fixes but probably best to get the latest E5+ model which has significantly changed the front of the bike.

Weight is carried low and it’s easy to work on. Finish is top notch. Mine scrubbed up really well with just a bucket of turtle wax and some MucOff bike spray. Add a CoolCovers seat cover, a touring screen of your choice and it really is all day comfy.

The Stelvio V100 and Mandello V100 aren’t much heavier if you want the extra oomph.

Currently in Sedan on the V85TT Travel. Very happy with it. Bargain at £12k new last year. Luggage works, no problems with the computer thing. I suspect problems are failing to read and understand the instructions. It's a bit idiosyncratic.
Previous bike a R1200RS. Both good for pillion

I've owned a couple of big Versys and they ride much lighter than their kerb weight suggests

Obviously a road test would help
So have I . Most bikes ride lighter than their kerb weight but still very heavy to push around

When I had an F800GSA for a while, my partner reckoned it had the most room and was the most comfortable for a pillion.

That includes a 1200GSA, RT and my current Super Tenere which she says is really cramped.

I'm 6ft and 17 stone and there was plenty of room solo or 2 up on the 800GSA.

Great bikes and very underrated in my opinion and currently great value.

Great engine too. Great fuel economy.
