I know a lot of it is not ST or G/S
but that is what he started with, that - and a great imagination, lots of skill,
the dare to change and more besides
Not many people keep a bike "standard" indeed it is hard to especially if it is 25 years or more old
When something needs replacing you change for another bit - then sometimes ingenuity and flair kick in
I am, and still am, impressed with this guys bike
OK - it has no viewable back brake, you could see the one on my old G/ST put it was little better than the one in the picture
I once remember a natter with Tarka contemplating the whereabouts and placement of bits off a Netto shopping basket on a project I was doing
Totaly daft / nutty/ weird ideas sprung up - none were implemented though
Shame that cos the bikes were both Yellow
I may start a post titled Utilisation of random parts form nonebiking machinery
fitted or adapted to your bike
This is not a rant, I understand some folks's disbelief it other folk's plans - It is up to the individual - and so it should be
They are conformists - I like to think - being a biker is not that
Thats what I think anyway - and its cold in me shed - and its warm aside me computer - and thats why the carbon silencer that I cadged off a triumph speed triple owner is not being fitted to my XT 600 at this moment
Love you all
