Just been out on the 74 R90S for a short trip today to start the new year and then cleaned off all the grime from the past 3 months- nothing strange in that! Then I thought that I would try for the first time in 12months ownership to kick it over with the kickstart . Well it started second prod and do easy compared to a commando my last bike with a kickstart.
The previous owner said it was impossible to start this way so I did not bother- such a revelation!!!
The r90s is such a great bike and I am so lucky to have 2 , all be it that the 75 is starting a restoration and turning GINGER .

That is interesting. I really don't want an electric starter on my project track bike and I'd thought about bump-starting, electric rollers, the lot - and all because everyone says that kick-starting is, excuse the pun, a non-starter. But then, I suppose, by the time Richie Moore has worked his magic it may be a little less forgiving...

just like my old husky ,it wouldnt start with a spirited kick but a nice gentle swing did the trick ,two r90s you lucky bugger
