Furygan Clothing

Hi, I nipped into J&S accessories in Northwich today and bought a Furygan jacket. They say it is 100% waterproof but will see tonight when I nip to the Hen & Checken pub in Magull. Has anyone any experiance or views on Furygan kit, good or bad?

I wanted a jacket that has a waterproof outer as apposed to my HG toureg which has waterproof liner and for £99 I thought I would give it a go.

I bought a Furygan jacket and trousers (in leather) back in the late 80s'. Lovely kit and to be honest, I'd probably still buy their kit if it was still available here. The leather was oh so supple and thick and to a point, water resistant.

I presume you've bought a textile jacket and if it's still made to the standards my kit was produced to, I'd say it's a good enough buy.

Furygan gloves ...

... were the dogs do-da's, wore them until they had holes in. Was recently told that the original company had stopped trading but that someone bought the name

Just ridden from southport to Warrington in an absolute down pour and the Furygan jacket is 100% waterproof.
