Folks,

I looking to confirm that F4 on a R1150GSA only supply's the horn, I've check a wiring diagram for a 1100GS and 1150GS and on both of these the F4 is the horn only, but I don't have wiring diagrams for a 1150GSA.

Does anybody know ?

cheers

nunesaf,

That was one of the schematics I checked, unfortunately the 1150GSA has a couple more fuse's wired up in the box than the standard 1150GS, so I don't know how similar the wiring actually is, but thanks for the info anyway.

going by my scientific method of running the bike and pulling the fuse it only seems to be the horn that stops working, so I feel it's reasonable to assume F4 is only connected to the horn.

cheers

For info,
You're right, F4 for the horn. The extra fuses - F8 for dipped beam, F9 for high beam.
You may also have an extra relay - this operates a carbon emissions canister connnected to a 2 pin socket that is located just under the right hand side of the pillion seat. I believe only used on American spec bikes and is redundant on European models, although the wiring etc is there.
