fuse size

evenin all

just about to out to the garage and hardwire my SP111 to the bike battery, i have bought an inline blade fuse holder to protect the Sp my question is what size fuse should i fit?

2610 power lead comes with a 1 amp glass fuse. i'd lobbed that & replaced it with a better blade holder, then i discovered how hard it was to find a 1 amp blade fuse

I would go with a 1/2 or a 1 amp fuse, its your wiring for your GPSR you are protecting, not the GPSR its self.

are they fused internally then?

The fuse is there so if you get a short circuit i.e. wire chaffed through you dont set fire to the wiring and your bike. Thats why the fuse holder needs to be as close to the battery as possible.
