hiya,i shouls imagine someones had this up before but im gonna give it a go,i,m picking 1100gs tommorow and i,ve got a few mods in mind for the future and been an ex streetfighter builder i know somewhere along the lines im gonna want to personalize this beasty and make it abit differant,one mod is 1150 lights on the 1100 anyone done this?whats involved?straight swap?i,m hearing the 1150 lights are,nt up to much but i,v got a bit of a soft spot for the bug look.any takers

If you want a straight swap check out the touratech light conversions
cheers mate,but its already got touratech conversion,but its the beak of the 1150 what i,m liking so maybe if its possible to fit the 1150 around my touratech lights maybe that will look good

I added a HID conversion on dip to my 1150 Adventure and it sorted the lighting issue out considerably. Personally I would not bother with HID on main.

You're right in thinking the 1150 lights are shiters.......not as good as the admittedly ugly 1100 rectangular one.
As above, if you do this mod, go for HIDs at the same time

Don't be tempted to fit higher power halogens in the TT conversion.. it WILL melt.
don,t get me wrong i know i said i like the bug look but those chrome lights have got to be the uglyist lights on a gs i,ve ever seen,whoever done that mod was either pissed,high on coke or done it has a dare
