For Gods sake don't tell me wife :( :( :( :( :( :( :(

Mind you, if you've got a SPIII then you might as well use it, thus you need to attach it to the bike somehow :P

I like your re-design of the GPS Mount.

I see you have extended the top of your old back plate to take the R.A.M ball.

Did you receive the pics of my setup using the old back plate,
R.A.M ball and Garmin cradle?

All works fine, so much better than being on the handlebars.
Does help having Tobinators to give more screen clearance for SP III antenna.

I also use a sunshade on the SP III (made out of a 99p plastic A4 file from WH Smiths) to reduce the glare.

Just have to work on a good (cheap) way of getting the voice directions to my lugholes. May also fit the remote antenna at some time?

Keep up the good work.

Regards.

Tazwick :kitty

Hey Tazwick,

I'm sure you recognize the mount in a way :D

Tazwick had the original idea about half a year ago. He wanted to put a RAM ball on my IMO base plate.

I've been playing with the idea ever since and I finally did it a few weeks ago. Now, a few days ago, he sent me a few pics of his mount with my modified IMO base.
So, if you like Taz, I'll send you a new mount for free. :beerjug: Unless you want to keep your unique prototype of course.

Cheers,
Michel

Could you make one without the holes for the IMO?
As there seems to be quite a bit of interest, I'm having some made without the small holes Mike.

It's probably better, as not too many people are using an IMO.

Michel

You've got mail Steve.

It doesn't make much of a difference, whether I send them to the UK or the States or any other part of the world really. Shipping cost is about the same. Only shipping time will be longer.

Michel

So if anybody want to contact me, don't worry if I don't answer :eyebrow . I will next Monday.

Bloody nicelooking bit of kit.....shame I spent out on a handlebar ram mount or I'd have one....

Agree with the no holes move though, and just being picky but if i was going to get one, i reckon a matt black finish to blend with the plastic dash would be better.....

But then, I'm a tart ;)

Have you whacked this up over on Advrider Migsel???

go do it right away if you have'nt.....they like a nice bit of kit too:D

Must Have Accessory

One for me too please :) :beerjug:

Andy Leett and Dennis are in FrogLand this Weekend if possible Con one of them to bring one back for me (I'm sure they will have a few Euros Spare :D )

The one in the pics was spray painted to be ready quickly.

The "final release" ones will be anodized, matt black.

Hi MiGSel ... will you be bringing any to France this sunday??
You probably noticed... I wasn't. I was in Germany at Touratech.

I will be at the Land's End Event in April and in Kasterlee at Easter. I'll bring some goodies there if you like.

Cheers,
Michel

The mounts are now ready.

I'll try to get one mounted asap and post a pic of the final result. They look much better in anodized black. :)

The ones already ordered are on their way over!

Cheers,
Michel
