Doing a little research for my Lad. Could you give me an idea of BMW service prices (ish) for the 600 mile and subsequent services on the ikkle GS please.

Apparently the first service (between 350 and 750 miles) is £121 
I paid less for my R1200GSA 
I paid less for my R1200GSA I paid £90-odd for that one.
I can't find my receipt for the first 600 mile service but circa £100 rings a bell.
I had it serviced after a tough 4000 miles in Durban, RSA for ZAR 2130 (£110)
and it was serviced again when I got back to the UK at 8000 miles for £150.
Both of those services included brake fluid changes and the air filter was replaced at the 4000 mile one. That's a bit of a sod to get to just from the sheer number of bolts/screws to be undone to undress the bike for access to it.

The big trip wasn't as long as I had hoped or intended due to my mother's passing, so I have things to go back and do ... but the bike was fabulous for 8000 miles of abuse by a middle-aged, off-road novice who really should know better. OK ... just checked and ... ah. Try it again as I "unpublished" it while I was taking a break from FaceAche, and not enabled it again. Of course it worked for me as I own it ... Sorry about that, it should now be fine.
You're very welcome and ... It is stunning ... and I'd go back tomorrow to cover the ground I didn't on that trip and to revisit and spend more time in others.
