Anyone worked out how to modify the switch so that they can be switched off?

Hi, if you look at the selector on the switch, you can see a white plastic clamp which holds it in place. Get a small pointed tool and you squeeze the white bits together and the selector comes away from the body. once you have done this you will find a little metal peg that stops the selector going to the off position, remove this and then reassemble the selector.

Good tip! - Actually I am quite impressed with the battery/alternator combo so far on the grounds that it has actually started every time so far with no evidence of weak battery syndrome.
