My Samsung Galaxy Active Tab 2 has Android 5.1.1. and shows 'the latest software is installed' when I check for updates. However, the main app I use is OsmAnd and it no longer 'supports the device' which means I can't download maps etc. Apparently OsmAnd needs Android 6 or later to operate. Has my Active Tab 2 reached the end of it's capabilities or is there something I can do to update it to Android 6?

I had the Tab 1, It bricked itself so i binned it.
See post above the tab 2 is android 9
Having just checked the model number, it is a SM T365.
The tablet came with a bike I bought a few years ago and was always under the impression it was a 2. Clearly not!
