I'll have number 12 for meslef please, and 77 for t'other half. Will paypal you later on.

What a great raffle - best of luck with it!

Sent payment as gift, so you get the full amount Marc :thumb2

:eek

I should hope so too...

I sent mine in Euro as I thought that's probably what you need Og - do you have a preference?

Oh, and in the extremely probable event that I win  - I'd like you to keep the bike and sell it on for even more money towards the "Og goes to Africa" fund :thumb2

yabut...

I don't want to spoil the fun :rob especially for such a noble cause, but I have the feeling that not all numbers will have an equal chance of winning

If I'd live in the UK I'd put my ££ on no. 50 :augie

Or am I missing something? :nenau

Good luck with the raffle! :clap

i've had this looked at by far more experienced people than me before i put the idea online at all - as i thought if anything can go wrong - it will. :blast

i've been assured all are equal - i.e; there's as much chance with one number as another.
hope that clears it up. :thumb2

aww - go on... buy a ticket - i dont live in the U.K. either! :D

'tis (almost) correct. :thumb2

The chance of any one number being picked first in the lottery is the same as any other number being picked.

The chance of any of the remaining numbers being picked next is the same as any other number

The only way of 'increasing' your chance of winning is to pick a number which can be arrived at in a number of ways.

For example, my choice of "3" is a really stupid one, because you can only achieve it by adding 1&2. The number "13" would be a better choice because it can be achieved by adding either 10&3 or 6&7 - so doubling your chances.

Now that I've given the game away, anyone with elementary maths will have to put their money down on the "smart" numbers before someone else pips them to it...

Starting to shape up there Marc :thumb2

Except that you spelled my two digit number "3" wrong - you spelled it with a "4" :augie

(there's always one akward sod isn't there? :D and it's usually me  )

ohhhh :blast

now corrected Mr 3annini :P

(Thanks - :thumb2
i am so good at making myself look dumber than i actually am.)

Being a GS forum... :rob Both bikes are buried under a layer of dust, projects waiting for My-Own-Shed™. Had a blast on both though. Left the 650 in Holland when I moved to Finland. Made an amazing roundtrip through Finland-Norway-Sweden on the GL, two up, loads of luggage, no problem. Kind of like a GS really. Shortly after she over-heated causing the engine (crank shaft?) to get 'stuck' :tears FFS it's a HONDA!!! Took her with me to Sweden in a van :blast

Luckily she quickly got company! :JB(only recently went digital so no decent pics of her in better days)

Tack for the offer, but I'm sure Mrs Brox will never allow me to collect another project! But do come over, great biking opportunities here! :thumb2
