Gambia on an airhead?

Just back from a trip to Skye and Rassay on the bike in pretty cold conditions which were a good test for next year, you can find details in the Ride Reports section.

Gave me a chance to check out the bike and some of the alterations, the wind deflector combined with a Shoei multi-tech was a disaster as it seemed to deflect the rain (which we had a lot of) and crap right onto the visor meaning I had to wipe it every 30 seconds. :blast MRA screen will be fitted shortly to sort that out.

The Tony Archer seat was superb, not a problem with rear end ache over the entire trip with plenty of support, top marks to Mr Archer :clap

I'm just back this morning from travelling around The Gambia and Senegal, you'll have a great time there:)

Might find that the different screen gives different problems. Have you thought about trying the bike without any screen? I find that my visor is in quite clear air, which means it doesn't clear itself like it does when in turbulent air :( Ideally I'd aim for the rain drops being blown down the visor by the turbulence.

I might use rain-x or pledge to try and keep the visor as clear as possible.

Can do, but don't wish to swamp your thread.

Thanks for those. You're right, didn't to divert the thread. You can always post a few on the Calum's Road thread to whet our appetite so to speak :augie

Now I'll get off the airhead section and stop clogging up Roger's thread....

But which Airhead? :augie

Well choice of 3 but there can be only one :augie

Change of plan on the bike front, got to be an Airhead but instead of the mono I'm going to take this

Complete strip down will start next week then a full rebuild and some cosmetic work.

Can post pics and drivel as it progresses if ya want? :augie
