Hello Peeps
I have a Asus Gaming Laptop that has given me good solid service over the past 2 years, but is now starting to struggle on the very latest games..........Battlefield Bad Company 2 being an example that really requires a quad core to be honset.
Operating System is....Vista 64 ( sp2 )
CPU.....Intel Core2 Duo T5550 @ 1.83GHz ( Socket 478 )
Motherboard......Asus G1Sn.
Graphics Card....Nvidia Geforce 9500M GS ( 512MB )
Memory.......4 GB ( 667Mhz ) all slots taken.
Comes out at 4.5 on windows experience rating ( 5.3 on gaming graphics )
and all drivers up to date and running on DX10.
Is there an obvious and cost effective route to upgrading such as a new processor?.....I want to keep the laptop due to being able to take it to and from work....yes, we are that slack that I can play computer games at work.
Thanks for any and all advice.
