Hi

I am sure this has been asked before but my forum search skils seem to be lacking

I live just off junction 14 M5 near bristol. My gs needs a service and some tlc and a good spanner man is required. I work overseas and so would like to drop the bike off and leave for 4 weeks until I return.

Any help would be great

If you want a Bmw stamp in your service book, then I'd recommend Dick Lovett Motorrad, who are just off M5 jct17. They will sort your bike and store it for you.

Just had mine serviced, and it's a much nicer bike to ride as well as having some faults sorted which the main dealer couldn't.

Mike (the mechanic) is ex-BVM, the former BMW main dealer in Stroud.

In only a very few weeks time the local authority will be pouring tons of salt on the roads. It won't need to freeze they'll be there anyway. "Can't be too careful"
So factor in the cost of delivering the bike back home. Or - a full day going over it with a toothbrush.

Another vote for Mike at SMC; it's only a short distance over the top to Stroud from Falfield/Stone area.

I would thoroughly recommend Bath Road Motocycles, I've used them for 7 years now, ex BMW so have the experience and I know that they look after bikes

Had my bike serviced by him 4 years ago, the main dealers for a couple of years, back with him this year at his new stroud m/c setup. Can honestly say the bike came back from service better than it's ever been, don't know how he does it but what ever he does he does it so much better than main dealers. Positive rant over
