I want to keep my bikes safe and sound, anybody from the Bristol area have a recomendation for or against a company to fit an electric roller type door.

I had one fitted by these guys tpssales.com , sensible price and good service , they was going to bristol to fit one after mine so cover your area hope that helps

They originally quoted me £1850 and after a bit of haggling I got them down to £1000 fitted incl VAT .... they did a good job and the door comes with two remotes as standard

B& Q were doing one about 6 years ago when I was looking, complete unit including the door , plug and play with 2 remotes , fitted it myself in a day and its still going great guns. Cost £388 delivered, my existing manual door was fecked at the time anyway so worked out well.

Same as Nice 'n' Fat, 1st quote was £1750, fek that I thought, just ordered one from thegaragedoorcompany.co.uk, £1000 fitted inc vat, and they threw in an alarm to go off if an attempt is made to force the door up, and they dispose of old door, the door fitters not the thieving scumbags before we get a smartarse, getting fitted a week on tuesday, lets hope its ok.
I did do a load of research and could have got one for around £900, DIY fit, it was probably a slightly better door but not really a comparison in the scheme of things.

Eventually settled on Avon Doors in Yate near Bristol. They had already done a door for my son in law so I knew the result. Negotiated down the price a bit, all doors made in their work shop, not bought in.
Will be fitted within 2 weeks. Powder coated dark red roller type with insulated slats, will let you know the result.
Thanks for all the sugestions I used them all for a quote before deciding.
