Morning, I've got a situation where I've lost the garage space for my bike (house sold and exchanged this week) - Brampton, Carlisle.

Is there any chance that someone could help out in the Carlisle area with space for a Tracer 700 between this Sunday/Monday until Monday 2nd June when it will be moved.

We have to go down to Derbyshire as the mother in law is ill and we need to stay there for a period, but also got a week booked in Spain flying back in on June 1st

So that's a 3 week period where it just needs to stored safe - bike is mine, V5 etc in my name, nothing hooky and it's very clean and tidy if anybody can help.

Many thanks Phil

On a side note, I really like Brampton. Was looking to buy a house there or nearby Wetheral. Somehow ended up in Clackmannanshire 🤔🤔🤔

a shipping container lock-up won't cost a fortune for 3 weeks

I have friends there. They have a 1200 Bandit but no garage.

Nice town. I usually stay in the Howard Arms, although it is getting a bit pricey nowadays.

I am back from spain after 27th phil.
I can look after some stuff for yer pal.

Hope yer get some localer help

Thanks for everyone's offer so far, very good of you all.

Just to put some more context to it, we fly back into Glasgow on June 1st around 17:30 - staying over that night in a rented caravan with our daughter in High Hesket - between Carlisle & Penrith.

Then Tuesday morning 2nd June I can get a lift within 15/20 miles to get to the bike and just throw a roll bag on before setting off for Germany - the closer to the Carlisle area the easier it will make things

Have you got a local house moving company? They often have loads of space and containers to store customer's furniture etc, I used a local company to store my Jaguar XJS in for two years.

Not much help to you but I could accommodate it in Suffolk.
You could then travel onward from Harwich but you’ve probably got ferry booed already.

As Snooty suggested I searched local storage units, particularly for vehicles and called one in Carlisle.

Unfortunately they said they wouldn't store a bike in a container for me as it might Soil it 😲 they have however come up with some storage under a railway arch which has a locked door and the site is security control.

So all sorted and on the way back to Derbyshire in the car - thanks again for everyone's offers and suggestions
