Can anyone recommend one to me and where to mail order from? My garage space is quite tight with the car in and it's difficult to get the bike in.

cheers the first looks ideal...I can manage the car...in a straight line into the garage... ;) The problem with modern houses is that they really don't give you much room...

They do this one at Hein Gericke and possibly Busters.

Just looked at the abbastands which goes on the back wheel, unlike this trolly which goes under the main stand so you can wheel the whole bike about.

Do a check of the "deck" and and sure it will accomodate ALL your centrestand - the overcentre foot lever must clear the sloping sides of the trolley

I have the hein gericke trolley and it works a treat. I can turn the bike 360' no problem and better than a turntable I can put the bike anywhere in the garage with no effort.

My problem is that the bike will go next to the door of the garage and there is a slight lip to the entrance. I'm afarid that the full stand types might tip the bike over onto the car whereas the single wheel abbastand design will give me more control.

What you need is the DTS easy slide.
This is a two foot wide six feet long steel tray which slides out from you garage on hydraulic rams, using a remote on your key fob.
You just wheel the bike on to it and press the button.
It retracts into the garage with the bike on it.
Pretty cool piece of kit, but expensive.

No movement at all when the bike is on the trolley. I have rocked it and pulled it round the garage and its stable.

Nadeem.....I've got one odf these from Gericke......mine looks wider though so the whole centre stand goes onto it easily, including the over-centre arm bit.

Gimme a shout and I'll bring it round this week so you can try it if you like.....the advantage of them is it's small so you can slide it away or put it on a shelf or something when it's not needed.

It takes a few goes to get used to the centre of balance of the bike on it, but once you've cracked that, it's easy to spin the bike, move it backwards or forwards etc and the castors have individual locks on so you can stopit from sliding if you need to.

top bit of kit :thumb
