Mac 1O.3.9 has lost garageband, where can I get it. I have owned this Ibook since new BTW. but lost the discs when I moved to Ireland...
email apple for it and get the download ref of their website...
All I have been able to find on their site is the garageband updater... I will mail them.
Its a bummer really that in fact it is so easy to delete a program from a MAC...
Especially when you've lost the box and discs

download a complete install disc of 10.3 (panther is it?) and use that, or is garage band on a different disc?
must be one somewhere to download![]()
Would you do that Cookie...i found one listed here but reading the comments, it might not work.
can your ibook be upgraded to leopard? perhaps that might be the way to go. IIRC latest garage band doesn't run on pre leopard os-x. would need to check.
if that's wrong, i can copy the GB install on mine & send you a disc.

Would you do that Cookie...
I cannot get any of the downloads to work as they are all updates.
I do own this Ibook and have done since new. If only I could find the ferking discs...
The reason I want Garageband is for my son as he has an M Audio Black box which enables him to record himself via the Mac. It comes with software but neither he nor I are capable of running it, and that's after 15 years in IT (retired), now diving![]()
Have you got a reply from apple....shouldn't be a prob if you own it from new
No big corp is easy to deal with but i would have a thought an email and they would send you the prog or link in an email

No is the answer to that, their site is so complicated and it aint easy to get a direct link to a mail, I gave up![]()
