Garmin Nuvi 2515 trying to get it to pair with my Cardo Bold but to no avai

Hi all, I have a Garmin Nuvi 2515,I’m trying to get it to pair with my Cardo Bold but to no avail, the Q is, is it me or can’t it be done the Nuvi is Bluetooth

I can't find where this post has been moved to - despite doing a search on the site.

The Nuvi 2515 will link to a mobile phone - using built in speaker and microphone on the device. It will not link into a headset.

I believe this is due to two different Bluetooth profiles.

Garmin only ever made one car Satnav that would do both - and that was so long ago that I've forgotten the model number.

It was the Garmin Nuvi 765T from 2009. It hada headphone socket so that you could hear the Nav instructions. It's too old to even think about.

If you wnat a Satnav rather then a phone for guidance (and I do!), then you could buy a cheap Zumo 346, 396, 590 or 595 on eBay or here.
