That spot looks horribly familiar. I was coming down the river bed in the opposite direction with a Belgian rider called John in April. We walked the options at that stage and decided that discretion was the better part of valour so declined the opportunity to try to ride up! Instead we took the 'easy route' and went over the bank just to the left of the river cliff.

Roy on that Kwakker was the guinea pig, sent to see if the road went anywhere.....he was coming back down it....from there, we rode right down the river for another 6 miles to meet up with the east-west piste that eventually took us to the new tarmac that goes to the FoumZguid road.
There are some amazing riverbank houses a bit further south of that point Tim, and the river does go through some spectacular gorge sections.

Not everyone is planning to climb the Matterhorn next year, nor does everyone have a body of any other god than Buddha......
IE if some large chaps with 'intermediate' levels of fitness
can get out here and have a whale of a time (pun intended), so can anyone You don't have to be a riding god or a fitness freak to get top top thrills out of a trip to Morocco
