Garmin 2610 Screen

I have a 2610 with a screen which has delaminated and is badly in need of replacement as this one is only legible in poor light.
Wondered whether anyone can recommend a repairer who would replace the screen or are there any other options availaable?
I should add that I like the unit and its operation generally, other than the 5 digit postcode search, and cannot afford nor justify spending hundreds of pounds on a new model.
Sensible suggestions would be welcome.

Have a word with Garmin, they dont fix these anymore but may upgrade it to the Zumo550 for the price of a repair. They did for me

Remove all of the delaminated film and then replace with an anti glare protector....I need to do the same to mine...just not got around to it .

Did this to mine a couple of years ago - been fine since. (If Garmin offered me an 'upgrade' to a Zumo 550, I would rather spend the money on another secondhand 2610!)

Anyone know where I can buy a screen. Tried the link and rang them to enquire. They said they do not sell the screen but could fit a new one for me! Since I am in Austria this is not a good option, if I can get hold of one I have a tame geek who will fit it.
