If anyone is interested in mounting a Garmin 276C on the R1200GS, I have used the Touratech bracket and lockable cradle and am very happy with the fitting.
I have wired into into the 12V power using the Touratech TPS-15 power module, and sound is fed through an Autocom mounted under the seat. The whole system works very well.
You will also note a Uniden UHF with an Autocom PTT on the left handlebar.
