As some will know, the Garmin 590 can change from Landscape to Portrait views.
On a fixed clamp this is a pain to change.
I made a small interface that does it in seconds.

Take a look at the display time :thumb2

Just need some idea of interest and would it be worth getting some made or passing the idea on to someone like Cymarc.

Looking at the display time as suggested, it looks like 2 hours and a minute between the images! Have you a photo of your interface?

Aye, but the bike seems to be frozen in time, spooky.
Maybe a different time zone in portrait mode??
Cancel that, the mail envelope is covering the number 1 cos is more squashed up.

Yes I also spotted the garmin time thats why I said to look at the "display time" but I meant the Bike display not the garmin, silly me !!.
Portrait is handy if you are on a complicated road route to be able to see the route ahead, or maybe just your preference.
That is exactly why I posted the pics, to get other peoples comments and ideas

Photo of the interface added showing it half turned, total thickness is about 10mm and can be mounted between the Garmin holder and crossbar or any other system that has the standard AMPS hole patterns
