Had a couple of issues that needed help today. Called Garmin tech support line. Must admit it took along time to speak to someone. Waiting in the queue!

However, when I did get through spoke to a nice competant guy who answered my questions and tracked what I was doing when explaining what was happening on my unit/PC.

This took 'some time' which for me was very good! For anybody 'waiting' it would seem easier to contact God!.

Anyway, just a thought to anybody with a problem. Call at a time when you can afford to wait. Hold music. Someone will answer when they have got rid of the last prat already on the line (Like me).

I was satisfied that all was well at the end of the call.

Thanks to Garmin Tech Support.

It always seems like ages with Garmin, but if you can stand the waiting in a queue, they have a good support team. Glad to hear I'm not the only one to have received good service from them, its reassuring after so many moans about customer service from people. :thumb

So it was you, was it :whip
I must have been waiting over 45 minutes before I got to talk to a human... thank doG for work phones :D
When I did eventually speak to a human bean, he was very helpful, as you say, and took the time to go through a problem thoroughly... he did mention that their computers were down yesterday, which made things worse than normal.
Let's hope they sort out my foggy screen :(
