I've had my powerhouse for about 2 years or so and it lives in the Garage as a power source as it has no mains electricity. It's mainly used for charging portable batteries, charging the Bike over Winter/extended periods or low usage, and anything else i need charging.
Recently it started to switch off charging after a short time period, even if the device connected was still drawing power. Even after a reset and testing different items & electrical draws it was still intermittently shutting down. I contacted Anker support about the issue, and what happens next. They have now issued a replacement for me - although not the same model as they're out of stock in the UK. They've given me an alternative model (with my permission) which is still the same spec overall. Considering i only started the process on Friday night, i was pretty impressed with the service!
I'm not sure if they'll collect my old unit or not, so i'll find out when the new one gets delivered. I was pretty happy with the service and speed they have resolved it. Thankfully it has/had a 5 year warranty, so it'll be covered for my years to come.
So, a free bump/vote of confidence if you have an Anker product. They should look after you/support the warranty of anything faulty.
