Hi Guys,
I have just inherited a Zumo 550 complete with City Navigator V9 dvd with my latest machine but am having problems loading the dvd on Vista. It seems to load up to a point then I get windows security flashing up a warning. I select 'accept' and it finishes loading and runs thro' the unlock wizard where I put in the 25 digit unlock code and all seems to be well. The program then runs up and I can view the maps and plan routes. Problem is when I close the program and attempt to rerun it I get a message saying it can't read from the registry and won't run. Any ideas?????:(

Moving on

Me again,
I found an earlier post from someone with the same problem and can now run Mapsource if I right click on the program and select 'run as administrator'. Great.
I now find another problem - if I try to run an update software it downloads for a few minutes then blows out with this message: Winzip self extractor. Invalid command line parameter (restart).
Anybody know how to fix this????

Snap! I had to re-install Mapsource as I have a new laptop and tried to upgrade from whatever level came on the DVD to the latest and got the same error.

Logged it with Garmin through My Garmin and f*ck all from them yet.

I have XP and always use the Administrator sign-in.
