My new Make Life a Ride Unit lasted less than 2 months, as I think Wapping's did.

I think the replacement will be a refurbed old model - when those useless fucks at UPS finally get around to delivering it.

So three weeks after Garmin shipped the replacement the useless eejits at UPS finally delivered it - no thanks to the equally useless eejits at Garmin.

Unexpectedly, it's a later version, and will hopefully last longer than 6 weeks of the last replacement!

Do not hold your breath, my latest REFRESH version. Touted to solve all the Nav 6's ill's lasted for the first 2 days of a three week tour of Spain in January. I have replaced it with an XT removing the very expensive BMW Nav prep with a Touratech secure mount wiring the XT into the old Nav 6 power supply. Garmin refused to exchange the Nav 6 for an XT even though they know full well they are also failing.....???
