Garmin nuvi 660. Is this a good buy?

I use one of these in my car. It's good but very out of date. Assuming it has Garmin's latest maps its a reasonable price. Check the firmware as there was an update to version 4.90 earlier this year. The link you gave says that 2010 maps are via a download, which will be about 4.5 gigabytes. When this unit was current they came with a mains charger which your supplier does not mention. Have a walk around Halfords (I work for them) and look at the Nuvi 265WT which gives you the same features apart from the audio jack for not much more over the counter. If you want to put the Nuvi660 into an Otterbox or similar please remember that the antenna has to be raised for the unit to work. I'm intrigued that when I click on your link the new FireFox tab says Nuvi 660FM but the supplier's writeup does not mention the FM transmitter that differentiates the 660FM from the ordinary 660.
